Standard 2 can be summarized by taking the R, R, & R framework and infusing technology into the classroom. The teacher becomes the tech leader in the classroom as well as becomes a student in learning how to bring in more technology into daily lessons. An example of how one can nurture the frequent and effective use of technology is by being a role model. Being a role model requires one to model for one's teachers in meetings, in trainings, and possibly even classrooms. It involves modeling the expected behavior just as we expect our teachers to do with our students. Lastly, it is also fostering opportunities for teachers to continue to learn and grow through professional development.
