Every day you will answer the question(s) that is(are) specific for the day of the week. You must answer the question(s) in complete sentences, spelling and punctuation MUST be correct. You can download the weekly Do Now! from this folder. At the end of the week (on Friday), you will send me your completed work using GMAIL.

Students will receive a vocabulary list on Mondays. Students will define, use words in sentences, use words in writings, and then they will be given a test over the words on Fridays.

Homework instructions:
Download the Reading log daily. You will read for 30 minutes at home and then complete the reading log with details about what you read. You will keep the reading logs filed in your Google Docs until you email the reading logs for 5 days (a week) to me by email.

Open the document and download. Read through the questions and ask any questions you have before you begin free writing about the topics. You need to free write about each topic for at least 5 minutes each. When free writing time is over, you will be instructed on how the topics will be discussed by the entire group. Be prepared to participate and share your opinions. Your free writing and participation will be graded.

If you are going to be absent for an extended period of time (more than 1 day). Please do the following assignment, one report for every day that you are or will be absent. The report or reports will be substituted for a missing class assignment or assignments..

Students will find assignments and activities to prepare them for the Arizona Merit test.
