Honors Chemistry is a challenging course involving the
exploration of chemistry through laboratory and lecture. Topics
covered include atomic structure, the periodic table, electron
configuration, reaction stoichiometry, gas laws, solution
chemistry, reactivity of acids and bases, kinetics and
equilibrium. There is also a brief introduction to organic and
nuclear chemistry. This course is designed for the student with a
high interest in science who is considering a technical field of
study at the college level.
